"Brewer: Zdzislaw Koltun.
Founded in 1799 by Bernhard Fischer under the name ""zum Zedernbaum"". The name ""Falken"" was taken in 1860. After having reached a production high of 82'700 hectoliters in 1966, the brewery saw then a constant drop, 41'000 in 2005 and probably about 35'000 in 2013, yet rises again with the production of Müller Bräu since 2022 (exact numbers are undisclosed). The production can reach 600 hl per day with an installation renewed in 2022 (potentially producing 120'000 hl yearly). The brewery has about 60 employees.
Was brewing Striker Beer under contract (2010 to 2012) and some for Dr Gab's. Brews most of the beers from Müller Bräu since 2021.
Offers some respectable (mostly traditionnal german-style) beers and others, well, less exciting. Go for the Weizen and the Schwarzbier, the best in my opinion."

It took me an eternity to put my hands on the beers of this pioneer of the new beer era. No regrets considering the modest quality … Offers apparently only german-style beers in confidential quantities (the brewery is not even present on Untappd)
